Storytelling has always been a big part of my life - part of our family ritual since I was a child. A cosy place, listening to my father tell stories of his boyhood growing up on the river; and of Uncle Bernard who went to America to look for gold on the Klondike, never to return.
In tandem with the many wonderful paintings and portraits by my mother that hung on our walls, it captured my imagination and inspired me to do what would later be my life’s journey in theatre, television and finally filmmaking.
Through this journey I have been intrigued and touched by the extraordinary in the most ordinary of stories.
The Film Biography Company has been set up to celebrate, capture and preserve these hidden gems (that otherwise may be lost) and to give them as a gift to the next generation.
The Film Biography Company team draws on over 20 years experience in broadcast television and award winning filmmaking, both nationally and internationally. Some of our previous corporate clients comprise: RTE (Ireland), BBC (Britain), Nippon TV (Japan), Future TV (Lebanon), American Express, Saatchi and Saatchi, Fed Ex, Bahrain International Formula One, and McKinsey International Consultants.
